So Lately, I've decided to check out other works from Tango Gameworks, a developer studio from Bethesda Softworks which is known for the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. Tango Gameworks is known for the Evil Within series I have only played the second game and I enjoyed it with how scary it was and how gruesome some of it's zombies and monsters were. I never have checked out other works from them after that till now, with their two most recent works Hi Fi Rush and the game that will be the focus of this blog, Ghostwire: Tokyo. Ghostwire: Tokyo is a Action Horror developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda and was released on March 25th 2022 on the PlayStation consoles and was released on other systems on April 12 2023 with a new update titled: Spider Thread. The game received mixed praise and many saw the game to be hard to get used to and tedious to play but had a interesting world with Tokyo shrouded in darkness as it's citizens have vanished and Yokai and otherworldly entities haunt Tokyo. I've been playing this game a lot more than Hi Fi Rush since I have this game as a priority first but what are my thoughts: It's a decent game, yeah the gameplay is okay but I love the world and the Japanese lore and Yokai, and the atmosphere scares me at time and when dealing with a stronger spirit, it can be terrifying at times. So of course, I had to talk about the achievements for this game because there are some achievement that are terrifying as well since this game has a ton of collectibles and some combat achievements that are absolutely scary as well. I will only cover the main game achievements as there is no knowledge about the Spider Thread update achievements at all yet. Anyway, let's take a look into Ghostwire's haunting list.

STORY ACHIEVEMENTS

Story achievements are very simple which is to just beat the main game story. Just beat all 6 chapters and you get all 7 achievements. The story of the game follows Akito, a young man who wakes up after a accident to find Tokyo in a fog and it's citizens missing. When he wakes up, his body is possessed by a dead man named KK who is using Akito's body for revenge. The two team up to defeat a group of otherworldly beings trying to destroy the game between the living and the spirit world, which is causing spirits called visitors coming in the living world to feed on the spirits on those who vanished, and rescue Akito's sister who is stuck in a coma and is being used to open that gate even further.

SPIRIT ACHIEVEMENTS

Throughout the game, you'll be collecting spirits and sending them back to the real world. There are a total of 240,300 spirits and the achievements require you to get 25% of the spirits, 50% of the spirits, 100% of the spirits and finally get 100% of the spirits and beat the games main story. AFTERWORDS

So yeah that pretty much all of the achievements for the base game of Ghostwire: Tokyo. There is too many collectibles to look for and a lot of battle achievements that are hard to deal with. As of now, I have finished most of the battle achievements but I still have some to deal with. As for collectibles, I might need to use some guides to help out with this. But for now, I'm just gonna enjoy my time with the game. Anyway, thanks for reading and peace out.
